Volunteers transport people to church, appointments and shopping for example. They may telephone and/or visit those homebound and/or hospitalized to keep them in touch and offer companionship. When special needs arise and Spirit leads, the Care Ministry team will offer a card ministry, prayer cloths, or other specialties to offer comfort to those requiring extra support.

Donna also offers weekly health related articles, referenced to Scripture, and related to body, mind and spirit. These are distributed in the church bulletins, and Constant Contact email notices, as well as specific national or global health focus articles in the Gloria Dei newsletter, “Messenger.” .
